By Board Resolution, Resolution R-10-349, an Interim Board of Trustees was established.  This Board serves as an advisory board to the Board of Supervisors.  The Interim Board of Trustees will monitor monthly Hospital financial performance; monitor Hospital management as appropriate; recommend structural, management, and operational changes involving the Hospital; Recommend options for on-going financial support of the Hospital; consider strategic options for adapting to changes in the health care environment; monitor regulatory compliance programs; and provide to the Board of Supervisors on a regular basis, and as requested, reports on its activities, assessments, and recommendations.

The Interim Board of Trustees shall be appointed by the Board of Supervisors, and it shall consist of 11 Members, as follows:
- Two members of the Board of Supervisors
- One person with hospital financial expertise
- Three local hospital representatives
- One representative from Health Care Services Agency
- Two community representatives
- One local health care professional
- Chief Medical Officer at San Joaquin General Hospital
